    Welcome to the new Alberta Forestry Online Training Hub. Alberta Forestry’s online learning platform offers wildfire and forestry training for staff, wildfire contractors, municipalities, and industry partners. These courses help support safe and effective forest management across the province. Access is limited and not available to the general public.

      Where can I access my courses? 

      You can access your available courses on your dashboard page.

      Why are there no courses available on my dashboard?

      You will need to enter a license key.  Instructions are provided on your registration fact sheet.

      What is a license key? 

      A license key will enroll you in the courses you require for your role as an employee or contractor for the Government of Alberta, Forestry Division.  License keys are not available to the general public. 

      Where do I get a license key?

      License keys are found on registration fact sheets. WILDLFIRE CONTRACTORS, FIRETACK and INDUSTRY PARTNERS can get fact sheets from their Forest Area contact/contract manager.  Alberta Municipal Fire Departments and WUI crews can get fact sheets from AEMA  WUI. 

      Can I complete the training on my mobile device?
      Most of our training is compatible with mobile devices, any courses that are not compatible have so noted in the course description.

      Do I need to redo training if it appears in my dashboard? 

      You are not required to redo training that you have previously completed on the Alberta Forestry online learning website, unless the course certificate specifically states an expiry date. If you see 100% Complete under the course on your DASHBOARD it is complete. Please do not submit a request to remove courses that you have already completed. 

      Where are the certificates for courses that I completed on the previous site?

      Course certificates and records can be found by expanding the "My Training" tab and selecting My Transcript.   Certificate downloads for courses completed in our previous platform can be found under Documents and Certificates.

      How can I print or save a copy of my certificate? 

      You can access your certificates under "My Training" and then select "My Transcripts", once you have identified the certificate you need click the download icon, the certificate will open in the same window and you can either save it as a PDF document or print it off. To return to the main site click the back arrow.

      What do I do if some of my records are missing? 
      If you are missing records of training that you received through the previous Alberta Forestry online learning site in your transcript you can reach out to the AB Forestry Online Learning Help Desk.  Please include a copy of the certificate for the missing training if you have it. We can only add records for courses completed on our online learning platform.

      How do I change my password or login ID? 

      You can change your password upon log in on Alberta.ca with the "Forgot my password" link.  You are not able to update your email or name.  Contact the AB Forestry Online Learning Help Desk for assistance.
